Making your Winter Jasmine for this Lunar New Year

 

Today we are going to make Winter Jasmine to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Winter Jasmine is also called String of Gold back home, because the yellow flowers look like gold, it also represent good wealth for the coming year. This time we have references a botanic illustration from the Curtis's botanical magazine.

What you need

Crepe papers in 90g Yellow and 180g Olive Green

Floral wire in 24 gauge

a pair of flat pliers and wire cutter

a pair of Tweezers

a pair of scissors

Paper clips

Paintbrush
