GERANIUM inspired by Pierre and Henry Joseph Redouté

 

This week is our Painter’s flower collection, we are to make a Geranium flower inspired by Pierre Joseph Redouté (1827 ). Pierre was a painter and botanist from Belgium, who has a nickname “the Raphael of flowers”, he has been considered as the greatest botanic illustrator of all time. 

What you need

Crepe papers in 180g Olive Green & 90g Pale Pink, Red, Yellow

Acrylic Paint in Red, Magenta, Yellow, Green, Purple & Black

Floral wire in 20, 24, 26 & 30 gauge

a pair of flat pliers and wire cutter

a pair of Tweezers

a pair of scissors

Paper clips

Paintbrush
